M.Tech - CSE- Cyber Security

About the Programme:

MTech Program in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Cyber Security has been established to meet the needs of trained man-power in the security domain. This course is offered in collaboration with IIIT DM Kurnool. This program is designed to provide a balanced mixture of theoretical and professional training in Cyber Security, Network Security, Cryptology and ohter fields of Information Security.This programme has highly qualified faculty, good lab facilities, and an extensive library. Students will benefit from the faulty and labs available at both the institutions.

Admission procedure:

Through GATE and centralized counselling.

Duration:

Two years–2 semesters of course work and 2 semesters of dissertation

Program outcomes:

The program shares the following outcomes:

1. In-depth understanding of core system technologies from a security point of view
2. In-depth understanding of cryptography
3. In-depth understanding of security tools implementation and internals
4. Usage of security tools and technologies
5. Ability to understand security requirements and develop security tools

Research:

Some of our students are pursing PhD in IITs, NITs and abroad in Cyber Security and HPC related areas.
