Advanced Wireless Communication System Lab (AWCS)

Advanced Wireless Communication System Lab (AWCS) includes next generation technologies like 5G and IoT. It will cover design and verification of the concepts of modern wireless communication systems that operates in MHz-THz range. The main focus of the Advanced WCS Lab is to analyze next-generation wireless technologies and mobile computing systems. Research into various types of wireless communication networks can be conducted in this lab: Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications, cellular networks, relaying, cognitive radio, heterogeneous networks, 5G wireless communications. Specific challenges that are of interest are on security, privacy, software-defined networking, Cognitive radio, spectrum sharing, key management, and BER analysis.

Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Facility

The equipment can be used to apply Artificial Intelligence techniques for security analysis and to generate advanced tools. Various tools will be automated that can extract intelligence and hidden patterns using Deep Learning models like Generative Adversarial Networks, Auto encoders, ensemble Networks etc.
